Enervolution is a lean, senior-only advisory and research company working at the frontier of AI, energy systems and sustainable carbon.
Who we are
Enervolution is led by Dr George Kyriakarakos, an energy systems engineer with an MSc and PhD in renewable energy systems and autonomous polygeneration microgrids. Over more than two decades, he has worked across EU institutions, international financial institutions and African Union organs on energy policy, regulation and system design. The company functions as a high-calibre external brain for organisations that need to design, govern and stress-test complex energy and carbon transitions rather than simply commission another report. It combines hands-on experience in microgrids, hydrogen subsystems, intelligent control and simulation tools with long-standing engagement in continental strategies, regulatory frameworks and action plans.
Enervolution is also connected to innovation ecosystems through minority equity and advisory roles in agri-tech and clean-tech spin-offs, and through exploratory work on closed-loop systems and space analogues as laboratories for resource governance under extreme constraints and beyond.
How we work
- Senior-only, lean structure – Engagements are led directly by Dr Kyriakarakos. For larger or multi-country assignments, Enervolution curates small teams of experienced associates and partner organisations rather than building a large internal pyramid.

- Public-good orientation – Where feasible, frameworks, tools and insights are placed in the public domain, often as supplementary material to peer-reviewed publications.
